On September 30th,2023, two of my ginkgo leaf art pieces, Peace & Hope, Peace & Support auctioned $2100 to support Center for Civil Liberties Ukraine peace effort. These two pieces are from "Sunflowers,Wars and Hopes" series.
My Background
Ying Chen is an artist with science background, educated both in China and US. After living and working in Chicago for many years, she went back to Beijing and studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. During last 10 years, in addition to translating and publishing an art history book Art Since 1940 in 2015, she has created art in series and on various mediums, such as the unique Gingko leaf art.
